Even its little seeds are beneficial for skin and by containing a high amount of omega-3 fats.
But the most significant benefit of figs is that they contain a proteolytic enzyme called Ficin, which reduces inflammation throughout the body and supports anti-aging.
Another great fruit to go with figs are pomegranates. Pomegranates contain similar antioxidants and flavonoids that fight of inflammation and toxins that have found the way into your body, which decline the anti-aging process.
